PPS(Polyphenylene Sulfide)는 치수안정성이 가장 뛰어난 플라스틱 중 하나로, 탁월한 내화학성 및 내열성을 동시에 가지고 있어 고온의 내화학성이 요구되는 화학플렌트, 의약품, 반도체 제작공정 등 정밀기기부품으로 다양하게 사용되고 있다. 각 Maker별로 상이한 상표(Trade Name)로 제품을 판매하고 있는데 Ryton(Chevron Phillips Chemical), Techtron(콰드란트)이 대표적이다
